Error: System unable to change the printer... (printing Help due to printer).
Error:
The system is unable to change the printer settings. Run Control Panel to make sure that the printer is installed correctly. (160)
Cause:
This error message occurs when clicking on a book on the Contents tab page in Help and then selecting 'Print'. A dialog box appears behind the Help window and the computer beeps. This behavior occurs when no printer is installed in Windows 95. Microsoft Corporation has confirmed this to be a problem with Office 95, Excel 95, PowerPoint 95 and Word 95.
Solution:
Install a printer in Windows Control Panel.
To add a printer in Windows 95 do the following:
1) Click 'Start' to display the Windows 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Printers'.

3) Open 'Add Printer'. (The Add Printer Wizard is launched.)

4) Click 'Next'.
5) Do one of the following to select the printer location:
a) Select 'Local Printer' if the printer is attached directly to the computer.
b) Select 'Network Printer' if the printer is attached to another computer.

2] Type the network path. (The path must include the network drive letter.)

3] Select whether or not to print from MS-DOS-based programs.
4] Click 'Next'.
6) Click 'Next'.
7) Do one of the following:
a) Select from available printers:
1] Select a manufacture in the 'Manufacture' list.
2] Select a printer model in the 'Printer' list.
b) Use manufacture's disk:
1] Click 'Have Disk...'

2] Type the path to the disk.
3] Click 'OK'.
4] Select a printer from the list.
8) Click 'Next.'
9) Select the printer port.

10) (Optional) Type a name for the printer.
11) Select 'Yes' or 'No' the make this printer the default printer for Windows.

12) Click 'Next'.
13) Select 'Yes' or 'No' to print a test page.
14) Click 'Finish'.
NOTE: To workaround this without installing a printer, press ENTER when the dialog box containing the error message is displayed (The dialog box disappears), click on the title bar of the dialog box behind the Help window and drag the box to display it below the Help window.
